Kathy has a solid background in customer service, which easily translates to the real estate business. She worked for many years in the corporate headquarters of a national restaurant chain. Her degree in business communications helped her interact with a broad range of people, from corporate executives and franchise owners, to vendors, to restaurant employees, as well as local and national press corps. The years of corporate experience also helped her develop problem-solving and customer service skills.
When Kathy and her husband moved to middle Tennessee due to a job transfer for him, she decided to get her real estate license. It seemed a natural fit– after all it’s all about customer service. Kathy views “customer service” as finding out what clients want and need, and then helping them get that. That skill set is extremely important in the real estate business.
Having personally relocated cross –country on two occasions, Kathy has an understanding of what is important to families who are moving to Tennessee. She is starting her fifth year in the business and devotes a large part of her business to working with relocating clients. She has earned her ABR (Accredited Buyers’ Representative) and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designations, and has been recognized by the East Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors for the past three years for her sales volume.
